“From an organically farmed vineyard. This is a full-throttle red, no doubt. A huge fog of aroma showcasing booze-soaked berries, ripe plum, brined black olive, mocha coffee and sweet spice aromas. The palate is a wall of thunderous, concentrated blackberry fruitiness shaped within a firm web of tannins, all of it dusted with ground clove and white pepper. It hits the ‘bold red wine’ target well in its balance and poise, despite the obvious heft. A palate-saturating red wine done very well.”
